SPLASH PAD GUIDELINES:
Splash Pad is OPEN for the season and we can’t wait to host you for some serious family fun!
CLEANING
- Splash Pad will be CLOSED on Mondays for cleaning and maintenance. We will continually keep a high standard of cleanliness in bathrooms and high traffic areas, with regular cleanings.
- We have added additional cleaning procedures for high-touch areas of plastic and metal throughout the park area.
- Equipment will be routinely wiped down.
VISITORS
We ask that you please review the following guidelines before visiting.
- Open to residents and non-residents of Hoover free of charge.
- Space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- Outside food and drinks are allowed, but cannot be consumed in the Splash Pad area.
- Appropriate swim attire is required.
- Pets are not allowed on Splash Pad.
- No balloons or tents inside of the fenced area.
- No outside chairs may be used on the Splash Pad or soft surface areas of the playground.
- Alcohol is prohibited in the Splash Pad and Playground areas.
- Food and glass containers are not permitted on Splash Pad.
- Infants/toddlers must wear swim diapers.
- Roughhousing or violent play is strictly prohibited.
- Water is chlorinated and recirculated through a filtration system.
- Splash Pad may be closed at any time due to weather, maintenance, or other operational concerns.
PLAYGROUND GUIDELINES:
We are thrilled the Playground is open, and we want to let you know what we are doing to create a clean and safe environment for our visitors. We will continue to follow our established Code of Conduct, which you can find below, and we have also added new protocols that we will be undertaking, and guidelines for our park visitors.

- We encourage our visitors to continue to engage in social distancing.
- We discourage large groups from using the area as a gathering place due to limited space and tables.
- NO outside food will be allowed into the park area, with the exception of bottled water and juice.
