Whether you are looking for competitive basketball tournaments, gun shows, or even a prom, Hoover Met Complex has the best space for you! Within the facility, there are so many options for spaces available for rent. We have event spaces available in the Hoover Met Stadium, the Finley Center, or even the front lawn. East Coast Pro Showcase
The East Coast Pro Showcase is a gateway for young baseball players to chart their path to the big leagues. This showcase started in 1994, giving young players in the eastern half of the United States the exposure they need to continue their baseball career. From July 31st to August 4th at Hoover Met Complex, you will have the opportunity to watch some of the top high school prospects, selected by professional baseball scouts, showcase their talents! Of those selected, between 80 and 110 players are selected into the MLB Rule 4 Draft!
BBQ Competition
Looking for a tasty way to spend your Saturday? On Saturday, August 10th, Hoover Met Complex will be hosting a BBQ Competition that will satisfy even diehard BBQ fans. As a visitor, you will have the opportunity to try some mouth-watering ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and much more. This upcoming event will be fun for the whole family, so make sure to mark your calendars!
Pickleball Tournament
Pickleball is a newer sport that has developed an intense following. This hybrid crossover, similar to both ping pong and tennis, is full of fun while also keeping the competitive spirit alive. Hoover Met Complex is hosting a four-day pickleball tournament from August 15th – 18th, so make sure to sign up or come and watch at our complex!
ALSCCA Autocross
This upcoming event is unlike any others held at Hoover Met Complex. The Alabama Region Sports Car Club of America will be calling Hoover Met Complex home on Saturday, August 25th. This autocross event will run from 7:00 AM until the trophy presentation around 4:00 PM. You won’t want to miss this one-of-a-kind, ALSCCA event!
CASC Gun Show
The Collectors and Shooters Company is bringing the gun show to Hoover! This gun show will offer an array of fascinating firearms for both gun experts and people who collect guns as a hobby. If you are looking to learn more about antique firearms or you want to ask questions to a professional, you can’t miss the CASC Gun Show at the Finley Center on August 31st – September 1st!
